Yeah, the r-tronic has not gotten very good reviews. Which is why it is even more strange that most cars for sale have r-tronic. :?

The magnetic ride on the other hand is very popular, that was one of my must-haves, together with the larger stereo, bucket seats and C/F sideblades.

Thanks! I was going to go for an all black first, but then found this one and loved it. I am thinking about replace the side mirrors for OEM C/F mirrors. Also, I am considering wrapping the roof in C/F, but since everything else is genuine C/F I am not completely sure it is a good idea....

nice ride, they have a nice aggressive front end, and that is a great interior... although for the money did you not consider a Gallardo?

Don't carbon wrap the roof, it will detract from the side blades. The wing mirrors would look ok in c/f though.

The Gallardo was one of the cars that I decided against quite quickly. For the money I am spending you would only get an early (04) Gallardo, plus I actually like the R8 better. I did consider Astons, GT3's, Turbo's and other cars, but I kept coming back to the R8. I have loved it since it was released.

I see your point about the roof. Also, wrapping the roof when all the other parts are actual C/F is not something I am completely happy about. The mirrors would be cool though, although I think they are around 1000 pounds for the pair.

I have asked the dealership to re-badge the car. I was then thinking about getting black badges, but decided against it in the end. For now I will leave them in chrome, but might take them off later and paint black. Wouldn't that be pretty nice against the white paint? :)
