The Z Wave

Three weeks into my new Z and only met a couple of others on the road, niether drivers would even smile when I flashed them, unlike back in the day when I drove a MX5.
Are Z4 drivers more serious than MX5 owners?

Seems so, has been discussed a few times before. I tend to give a small nod, a small knowing smile & maybe a tiny steering wheel finger wave - sometimes it's reciprocated, but more often than not unless they know you from the Forum forget it.

they are BMW drivers, what do you expect from them???

probably too busy looking for their indicators....

:poke: :poke: :poke:

BMW's have indicators..........Why ???

Funny I was in Newcastle last weekend on that Bike ride and I saw about 20! Most E89s ive ever seen!

The average person that buys the Z4 is usually an old guy or a guy going through his mid life crisis. Usually never enthusiasts.

And what would you call the thousands of our forum members?

Sounds like we're all deemed as old & in the middle of a crisis.... :poke:

Personally I am having a mid life crisis. Told mrs monkey it's a zed or younger blond with bigger ..... She said your not get that car!! She called my bluff but then let me get it :D good Mrs Monkey

Majority of Z4 owners I've seen in my area wouldn't even spot the car on the road let alone an approving nod or wave from a fellow owner.

What age = mid life?

For me, its kids have grown up (and can therefore get the bus) so I only need two seats! Re waving, perhaps everyone should just do it, if that works maybe we could try and introduce indicating! :)
