The Z replacement....

I'm lucky enough to have a little one on the way and so there has been a change of vehicles in the household, out goes 2 seater sports car and in comes:

It's the single turbo version rather than the twin turbo, however it has had a remap to put it up to around 218bhp. It has a bit of turbo lag, but I kind of like it for some reason, maybe I'm a bit old school however it pulls like a trainl!! It's a lot more refined than the Z4, a lot less road noise which is cool considering the gorgeous 19" rims. The steering and ride are brilliant, I would go so far as to say that it's a lot better than a Z :tumbleweed:

Other bonus is it's the right colour....I.e. Montego blue.

Plans for it are:

Install Andrive
Retrofit cruise control
Angel eyes.

Hopefully I'll get back into a Z in the future but for now this'll have to do! :D

Well let me see. :o

IF I had a young child &
IF I needed a practicle car &
IF I couldn't aford an F-FF &
IF it had to drink the devils own fuel &
IF I was unable to sell the child on ebay.

Then yep you have the perfect car there mate.

That looks lovely, I'm a big fan of the Tourings even better as an Alpina and don't see many about so a bit more exclusive, just need a toothbrush for the alloys :)

There was a tasty looking D3 saloon last time I was in at Eastern BMW in Edinburgh. An excellent choice sir 8)

Malibu, just keep telling yourself that.
Eventually you will believe it.

I will stick with one of each and appreciate them both for their strengths.
