I just had to throw open the front windows. Our neighbour accross the street has his Stag on the drive warming the engine through, before he takes her out for an evening spin.

you could just say:

blab,blab,blab,blab for 5 minutes. That's what a Stag on tickover sounds like. My Mum used to have a red one. - quite plush for those days! - elec windows!
