The Wing Mirror Mystery

A stupid little thing...

Saturday night we went to see Blood Brothers in Cheltenham (show was great btw  ). I parked parallel to the pavement (passenger side to the curb) next the imperial gardens/ town hall as I always do (because it's free in the evening) and then went across to the theatre.

Upon returning to the car both I and my GF noticed that I had tucked my wing mirror in, it was now out, likewise the passenger side which was left out had been folded in... very strange!

The wing mirrors are quite stiff on my coupe, and z4 mirrors aren't the easiest anyway. My GF suggested it was someone on here saying hello/ spotted lol

Anyway presumably a drunk z4 fan passing by.

If someone on here touched my Zed as a way of saying hello/spotted I'm afraid I'd have to return the gesture by touching their face with the sole of my shoe! :? :D

Charming! :poke:

It was probably just kids having a laugh. ok, not funny, but better than a scratch down the side.

i hate leaving the mc anywhere unattended, i just cant relax, worry about whos parked near it or the risk of vandalism, who ever did this harmless prank, could have done some damage even not intending any thhing other than having a laugh. people unfortunately fail to understand the ( ok , somewhat anal relatiomship) wwe have with our cars, if we arrived back just as they did that and understandably remonstrated with them, they then get punchy as if we are unreasonable, :headbang: luckily no harm done but very frustrating and plain annoying, just wish people would leave the f**k alone

i parked my pride and joy Suzuki gsxr at a local beauty spot once, while me and the wife were admiring the view overlooking my bike some guy lifted his kid up and sat him on my bike. i was fuming as it was only on its side stand and could visage my bike toppling over  a shout of Oi F**K OFF did the trick but had several eveil looks from onlookers :o

Cheeky bugger, you can look but certainly not touch when it isn't yours! He got off lightly and should have known better!

Sounds like some joker spotted one in and one out and did the swap. Maybe best to put both in in future so it doesn't draw as much attention. Like already been said, better a joker than a vandal.
