The whole MPG thing ...

When I first bought my 2003 3.0 I drove 56 miles each way per day to work, all highway and never above 70mph. I reset it every week and achieved a consistent 27mpg, even when I calculated it myself it was 27mpg. Now that I drive only 2 miles each way to work, it gets under 20mpg....damn you Sport button....

Don't forget you have smaller ones in the USA :P

The US gallon is only 83% the volume of a UK gallon, so 30mpg (US) = about 36 mpg (UK). Cheer yourself up with a huge improvement to your mpg by converting to UK gallons :)
 
i have just calculated my car did 32.7mpg over 3039 miles through europe

this was not taking it easy at all, its automatic too, i would say this is chuffin brill for a 3.0ltr car
