The Wheel Specialist - Farnborough

So ... i exchanged back and forth emails with Wheel Specialist in Farnborough and they knocked the refurbishment cost down to £350.84 from £385.

I asked for a quote with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 tyres - front and rear - and they came back to me with a quote of £1063.39!! i.e. £680 for the tyres! :o :thumbsdown:

I told them i can get exactly the same tyres from blackcircles.com for £385 delivered. :poke:

Then i asked if i can order my own and get them delivered to them and they agreed, so back to £350.84 for the quote. They will install the new tyres.

Thoughts on the prices?

Ever so slightly more on the Camskill website for the Goodyear tyres but cheers for the heads up, never heard of them before.

Their website is a bit old school but it works i guess.

Yikes, that is much cheaper. Yep, the south is not forgiving on the wallet.
