The Waiting Game..

It's a crap cup holder. I can't stand it....totally the wrong angle for a drink

That's the one. Parts 7, 10 and 11 from the ETK diagram.

We aren't getting extended storage but would like the center console cup holders. It is easy to swap the storage bin for the holders.

I haven't looked into prices yet since we are waiting. . .

Looks like I might be able to sell the oddments bin to an American Z4 owner :)

It's 28 plus VAT for the part, I know, I only wanted cup holders from the pack and the dealer quoted me for it.

I'm awaiting delivery of my car too.

I phoned the dealer yesterday and was told it's being built next week. Delivery is expected sometime during week beginning March 12th.

Can't come quickly enough but hopefully most of winter will be behind us by then...
 
Tell me guys, are you just getting the cup holders to just fill a space? Because believe me, they are really not good at all, as I hope someone will say on here!

if they are anything like the one's in E92, they'd be useless as you have to leave the armrest/storage thingy open to use them, or otherwise won't find anything short enough to fit there :!:
 
Yep I have them, have never used them for drink, hopelessly placed. However... they do take a pair of specs well without them moving around ;)

Exactly! Your arm has nowhere to rest when using them, to the point it intrudes on your seat space....
 
I think folding mirrors are a great addition. Apparently they can be programmed to work with the key as an aftermarket computer hack job....
 
Really? So I just paid 200 to get it done automatically when I could have paid someone 50 quid! Gutted!
 
No you've got me wrong.....folding mirrors don't work with the key, you have to press a button on the inside of the car...not by the remote.....
 
So even though you have to pay for the electic folding mirrors, they don't work with the key, which sucks

Would this work on an E85 or is it E89 specific?

If you car already has electric folding mirrors, it can be done. I went to a meet from here, which Jonnyfive arranged, and the garage in Reading said they can do it...
