Didn't see yours there John, saying that I wasn't looking...had I of known then I could have taken a couple of pics and not posted them like my own 
The sales guy said they sometimes, if not too busy do the hand-over inside and then you drive it out. I did see a car a few weeks back, a 1 series ready to be collected it was done up a bit and had a sheet over it. Fingers crossed you may get the works...my mate picked his up last week and said it was just outside waiting for him although the weather was stonking at the time.
Let me know what the experience was like at collection, I will be in the Middle East but still checking in on the form.

My dealer who is about a mile away showed me those screens when I asked, no problems. My delivery date did slip a few times....then actually came forward at the last minute. I guess if your dealer is miles away thats not possible.
When I saw mine before collection it was filthy....so they had to wash it, even though I didn't want them too. Just ask them to power spray it, and not use and cloths or sponges!

Im popping over on Saturday to sign the paperwork as it needs to be 48 hours before the car is collected apparently so Im hoping that I can have a quick sneaky look in the warehouse and see my new sibling

Don't you worry. I will be taking lots. Have to get the Mrs to take a few of me taking delivery and having my first sit in the car :wink:

You don't have to sneak in or anything, just tell your guy you want to have a look at it and they will take you in there.
The whole place is huge by the way, it is like the bloody Tardis...
Got mine from HJ Warrington and had a sneak preview of mine in that shed. I couldn't believe how big it was. (The shed that is)
Absolutely huge site back there but not much parking around the front.
Mine already had the number plate on it when I saw it but hadn't been washed or prepped.
Looked much cleaner when I saw it in the showroom on collection day!

Well been through today to sign all the paperwork but couldn't get in the shed to look at the car as it was closed up for the bank holiday weekend
Oh well at least when I collect on Thursday it will be all lovely and clean. Was told that I will be collecting from within the showroom as well and driving it out of the showroom so that will be nice
