It seems that the hand over procedure varies drastically from dealer to dealer. I asked mine if the car would be parked inside when I pick it up tomorrow, no luck unfortunately as the dealership is quite old. It will probably be covered in rain when I turn up :x

The weather turned out fine, had lots of top down driving today, what a joy it was fantastic.

The collection experience wasn't bad but wasn't great either, saying that I don't know what I was expecting...they did there job very efficiently, all I wanted to do was get in it and drive off.

Yes I know, we were seperated at birth...mine was kept in an incubator for a while but all is well now.
 
Hi Folks

Here are some pics taken today, the car is already dusty and the wheels are covered im break dust.

9 miles recorded at collection, she now has 125 showing...spent some time in the country lanes of Chesire today, it was great fun.

Looking good and nice pics. I like that combo of DSB and dark wood trim. It's like a fine navy suit with a pair of nice brown dress shoes, it just goes very well together.

Nice car, DSB is the best colour although you do need to be prepered for lot's and lot's of cleaning :)

Good choice on the colors. As others have warned, DSB is a lot of work to keep clean. Sometimes it feels like I spend more time washing ours than driving it.

Im still gutted you managed to get that one though. Would have been great for me with my surname being Mason.. I think we should swap!!

Dos Eques indeed...both Mr Mason and I. the car has been receiving a natural wash all day today :x

Sounds like a good idea, if you need to go to Halliwell for any reason let me know and we can see if we can sort that out...

Sorry about the plate, if it is any consolation they gave it to me I didn't pick it. They didn't have "KEV R1" so I said anything would do :)

The auto box is very good, however I have the 8 speed auto in my F10 5 series and it is exceptional hooked up to a turbo diesel...

I'm actually off there today. I have a meeting in Winwick at 10am so should be at the dealership for 11 :)
 
Very nice looking combo. Looks like the seats have been set 'just so' for maximum cruising comfort too ;-)
