The wait begins...

Been reading the forum for a few weeks and thought I should join and say Hi.

Just ordered new Z4 after 2 years of being without a Z4!!
Now I just have to wait patiently!!
At least deciding on all the options helped me through a week if night-shifts!!

The waiting felt like an eternity up until yesterday. I ordered back in March, probably thinking about buying around mid-march.
I ended up annoying everyone on all the car forums during my prolonged anticipation. :?

I also spent far too long thinking about whether I had the right spec and ending up getting all the options and repeated visits to dealer to take out different drives/colour Z4s. :thumbsup:

Now the wait is almost over, I'm glad I waited.
Delayed gratification is much better than the instant version. (a bit like coffee I guess)
Also allowed me to properly research what I wanted, practise detailing on an older car, source cheaper gap insurance, realise tyre insurance is pointless, and properly plan a roadtrip on picking the car up. :driving:

Hopefully getting car before this weekend. (I have been told to insure my car so they can register the vehicle on Thursday or Friday. !!! :roundel:
 
Yeah, I took much longer getting the spec right on this one. Thought I should keep a car for longer than a year this time!!

What did you eventually decide on?

Hopefully should get mine middle of June, my dealer has been pretty acurate with delivery dares in the past!
