The verdict!

Any plastic weld that comes out of a gun is fine. Araldite is good too but sand the bits you're gluing so the resin sets.

Or drill a hole on each bit and secure with piece of metal.

If you're handy this all sounds doable mate.

Check scrap yards for parts or get to BMW and spend a few mins in the parts dpt going through pics.

Plastic weld is just strong glue. Comes out of a gun which I think is heated and easy to trim excess.

Aural diet will do the same and is extremely strong. The red and white mix will do the trick
 
Proper plastic weld is like a metal weld but with plastic. My brother in law did an old fairing for me. Just like metal welding you have a filler stick and the gun it comes out of melts the filler along with the surrounding area. Looking at the results it looked just like a cross section from a textbook about welding. Impressive and very strong.
