Happy days :) after months of searching for the right wheel,s for my V6 TT today i landed a set of the VW Audi equivalent of the CSL .
Now they are out there if your wallet is deep enough & they are also out there buckled & twisted :(

For the uninitiated ( not you Woolybear haha) they are BBS RC Anniversary alloys , pic is today having tyres removed , yes they look ropey but they won,t when they go on my car

The TT Wheel

I much prefer the Anniversary edition , they were standard on the MK4 Golf Gti,s GTDi,s with Anniversary spec
, the TT BBS were similar but split rim & a larger star shaped centre piece

Are the ones you have buckled and twisted then?

Now now Mr S :? sarcasm is a low form of wit
No i bided my time & a sleeping fox catches no poultry so after many many emails & texts plus a 3 hour round trip today i was rewarded without my wallet taking a hit below the waterline

Full pictoral refurb thread please Mr.W

It will be before & after only i,m afraid 8)
Left them with my paint guy about an hour ago , he says he,l have them back before Topgear starts on Sunday :o Decided not to go powdercoat route on these with the centres needing to match & sometimes they don,t fit back together after with the paint thickness ?

Impressive speed and I like his reference point for return :D These are going to look sweet on the V6.

Did you mount them to check?

Was a serious question by the way. After adamski had to replace a CSL on his new car makes me wonder how many used wheels have damage considering our shite roads.

True. Had to replace a rear CSL that was buckled in two places :(

At stealer prices - that's just a smidgen off £500 :o

I remember these from my Mkiv gti days. Looked great on the 25th anniversary editions! Bet they'll look great.

Paint guy didn,t mention it was today,s Topgear before he got them to me  TBH we,ve had a fall out over these wheel,s so currently looking for a new man in that department :(
Still awaiting the BBS centres , tyres for the rubber geeks are Sport Maxx rears & Michelin Sport fronts so another combo i can report back on for you mr B
Balanced up a treat & weigh in at 20kg less overall i,m told by a TT forum geek than my current wefty V6 Ronal,s so that should impress Tom Scott :P
