The time has come

Well I've really taken the "save the old dog" concept to another level now! I bought the car with "issues" for a bargain price and have spent a bit on sorting those out. Now I'm investing in a respray with a colour change. Definitely going to have to keep her now as I will never get my money back. I know that's a major attitude failing with cars - the expectation to recover costs, but should I really have jumped to invest this money on a 13 year old car? Who cares? Wish me luck fellow insane enthusiasts!

Please say you’re going for a non stock Z4 colour.

Lol! Steve! Almost. I have picked one of the rarer colours. In fact I'm not sure if she won't be the first e85 in this colour as I have only seen images of 89's........

Valencia orange?

Ah, I would've gone wild given the choice!

My money's on Atacama Yellow

Don't want to "dis" the black but strikes me almost half of the zeds out there are black! Sure it's for a reason because they do look lovely and obviously very popular but when they start to get old and tired looking they lose that wow. I'm sure in time the Atacama will also but hoping to get a few years out of her yet and look after her better than she was in her youth.

Fair play going for bold colour
All cars sold now are grey, black, white or silver and it's very dull

Bold,but interesting choice

Thanks Craig. I've only ever seen images of the 89's (I suppose for obvious reasons) and fell in love. I know she won't look the same but am hoping for a similar effect. Let's see!

Certainly a bold colour :)

Everyone is different and apparent worth is different to different people
