Just seen this in today’s paper (admittedly not an E89 but still relevant):

They also picture a Z4M and reference run flat tyres.

What they don’t mention most are 15-17 years old and a replacement would do the world of good. Dampers will most likely be doing very little at this point.

Eastenders was the only TV programme that was actually banned in our house, wife decided that the continual drama and confrontation was not what the children should think is normal.

That aside the Z4 is rather firm suspension, OK on good roads, not good with potholes.

True, but it's a 2 seat sports car. If you are looking for ride quality surely you just buy more of a GT/cruiser?

I don’t think it’s that bad a ride, the wife doesn’t like it though. When I went to have a look at mine I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Now I hate driving anything else

i must say, my e85 on 17" wheels with non run flat tyres was a lovely riding thing. 18s and non run flats were fine as well.

the difference is certainly noticeable ditching the run flat tyres - though that was the first thing the person who posed the question would have tried, surely?!?
