if i was going to change the base i would be considering a shark fin, my golf as a shark fin that i think would look good on the zed - no too big, bmw shark fins are very big

Nope - just the antenna. They have one with the base, it's £10 more. Still cheaper than the one from the BMW shop that I have currently.

yes but I wanted to still be able to use the radio, it is 175mm vs 405mm for the OEM will see how it performs...........

Need to get a rear end shot to put the length of the "not so stubby" in proportion :wink:

Reception has been acceptable - slight lower signal in certain areas but never lost the signal totally so very happy. It is a Citroen stubby - Bought from Citworld

I should contribute with my own showing seen as I was the OP...

From ebay, citroen or Peugeot not sure but it fits a treat, checked out the AM reception which is perfect.
