The snow starts!!!

Yeah it 2'C here today. But still cold enough to make car washing impossible :headbang:

As someone who tucks his zed up for the winter for the sanctuary of a 4x4 I've got to say big well done to SARS

I almost feel left out: for perhaps trhe first time, we've got NO snow here while others have got sh*tloads

Good effort ont he winters Sars, I find the only restriction is the height of the Z4 - you become your own personal snowplough...

You got the heating on in the garage keeping the Zed warm? Looks that way as your garage is the only one with melted snow on roof! That's love for the car! Lol

Hadn't spotted that!

Drove from Fife to Kent today, went like this - lovely sunrise, clear roads... Cold and a little snowy down the bottom end of the M74... Fog and spray but no snow down half the M6... Snow on the central reservation all the way down the rest of the M6 and M1.... M25, combination of quite a lot of snow still in the outside lane and a$$holes thinking they could manage then realising they couldn't and pulling in sharply made it a little scary, even had a little aquaplane boogy at one point thanks to some damn fool... Past Dartford, down M20, absolutely gorgeous, all the snow still on the trees, roads ok... Home to 6inches of soft powdery snow, Z handled very gently and gracefully round the side streets and parked up tidily outside the house. 478 miles, touch over 9 hours, not a bad journey at all

Had such fun driving and sledging, a great day

That's amazing.... My car was totally hopeless on summers today.... Would never dare use the z in this weather normally.... But I may have to invest in some winter tyres after seeing that

Slightly off topic... But you don't look anything like I expected, not in a bad way... It just how you expect people to look after reading what they say

Even in this pitiful amount of snow car was all over the place on the side streets today -main roads around control London perfect though...thanks Boris

We had around 5" snow average, drifts up to a foot and some parts of the garden only around 2".
Beautiful drive to work this morning, once i'd dug us out. Trees were laden with snow and looking up through the branches as i drove along was magical (thankfully the snow wasn't melting), had to be wary of lorries on the motorway as chunks of snow were blowing off trailer tops into my lane, didn't fancy a chunk landing in the car interior  :driving:
