The snow starts!!!

The great timing of selling my X and the snow tyres ... :x

The car went yesterday to the dealer, got home at 2 am in the Polo as the hills made it impassible and trying to drive around abandoned or scared people was rather difficult (especially passing them sideways).

No council snow clearing in sight.

Great looking at all your snow pics! :P

No Snow in Glasgow! Ha...Le..Lu...jah!!!!!!!! Lovely day here...

Enjoy the snow!

Not a spot here in Cardiff. Makes the trip home from the pub later much safer. COME ON WALES !!!!!!

Last night was odd...

M25 @ 5:30 - not a soul, was like the zombie apocalypse.
M4 @ 6:00 - not a soul...

NW London to retreive GF - snow not yet settling.
Back to SW London - fish tail express all the way home...!

Zed is in here, and staying in here until the snow goes!!

You got the heating on in the garage keeping the Zed warm? Looks that way as your garage is the only one with melted snow on roof! That's love for the car! Lol

Just been sledging into our local dale in South Cave, first snow with winter tyres and omgosh what a difference, single track road that goes to an unused quarry. It has a nice gentle slope and then gets progressively worse, made it to the top of the first photo and around the corner. Am amazed by the grip levels, in fact I got to about 15 feet of where a range rover got stuck and had to head back. The look on walkers as they saw this Zed going up a hill with so little fuss was priceless.

Haha! Good spot!

Must have been because I parked just as the snow was really starting to settle here - extra warmpth from the engine rising to the roof must have stopped the snow 'base' from bedding in!!

Safe jnys all

That's pretty impressive sars! Doesn't exactly look like a light covering.

Well it was that deep, hence the outstretched arms :D

Good efforts Sars, we got a few double takes as we drive round in the zed today too - winter tyres rock! (except where the car's too low and turns into a plough!).. No excuse not to get the top down for the photo though  !!

Ps. Should add that photo to the 'me and my zed' thread.

A warm 4 degrees north of Glasgow. Not looking like snow here at all. Have vitara snotter in case but don't think we will need it
