The Smart Crash Test

Anyone have an idea as to what speeds these tests were done at? They gave a rating of 4/5 what does that mean. Most advertising here in the US do not even list a car that has less than a 5 star rating. So is this car safe? My wife wants me to get her one and just looking at it, I am not sure it is that safe. :? What do you think? Anyone had experience with one?
