Looking super shiny Marlon, spacers are the same sizes I fitted to mine & looks much better for it, gets rid of the gap round the rear arches just right :)

Hi Marlon - Great job. Love the shine you can get on red cars, had a few myself

Can I ask what you used to treat the windscreen rubber?
I think someone previously has got polish impregnated in mine - only on a 150mm section at the top but driving me nuts

Thanks

Thanks obewan :D
I used silicone multi-purpose grease - see picture in my first post

Cheers Marlon - I'll look out for some of that. I've tried Back to Black but the effect only lasts a few days.
I'm assuming (as it's a grease) that it doesn't 'wash' down on to the windscreen over time then?

I applied sparingly - so it glosses up the rubber without excess seeping onto the windscreen. I use it on all the rubber trims and seals: Around the door, boot and engine bay. It protects the rubber from cracking and perishing.

I know, I know - should be using a special mitt or something I believe?

At the very least! Car looks immense, but you're not going to do it any good living in 1994 ;) Get yourself a CarPro wash mitt for starters, look up the two bucket method, decent shampoo... and in place of the stuff you posted on the previous page, look up Bouncers Done and Dusted as a QD. Epic stuff;

That gloss finish looks wet - very impressive JAD, I may just give Bouncers Done & Dusted a try

Very nice
Mine won't be quite so 'manly' cos I have the SE suspension so it wont be sitting as low as yours - but I'm going in the right direction :)

Very nice Marlon look forward to seeing that shiny zed round the streets of Preston

Thanks marypoppins - I don't see you out and about, are you still keeping the mileage ultra low?

Picking up one of these at lunchtime

Car got filthy yesterday as I had to take it for MOT and of course it was pissing down :headbang:

Looks great I like the show room shine stuff. Never ever use it without washing the car first. It's a good product to give a quick polish that leaves a nice finish. You won't regret getting some wash mits.

No, in Grimsargh just past Red Scar.

Was funny really. Thought process... That looks nice. Wait a minute, I recognise that car, quick what's the reg, and all I saw was CCZ
