The sh*t you learn from TV

Having seen how chicken factories process adults, and how sausage meat is extracted... its enough to turn anyone veggie.

I used to be vegetarian in my teens for this very reason. Felt quite strongly about this. My vegan friend at the time pointed out that I still wore leather shoes, carried leather bags and used products that likely had animal derivatives in and was still supporting the industry. Over the years I gave up on the whole thing but thoughts of what goes on in the meat/egg industry upset me regularly to this day.

Next time you get some KFC think about this: The chickens are cut up on a "Nine Piece Machine", designed for KFC and others for a certain size of chicken that is about 9 weeks old, pumped out of farms full of growth hormones to get then to the size in the shortest time and then done it etc. Now realize that they buy the chicken by the pound and sell it by the piece... and the chickens are still babies.

(I wired up a few of these delightful machines in my past)
