she s a cheapy.....

roof motor is a issue... that wont put me off though...

not much service history..... should that ?


searching MOT gov history..... noticable oil leaks..... over last few years ?


where should I be looking ? and which are the worst buggars to sort ?

One key ???

Owned by same person 4 yrs and last proper service was then.... they tell me hardly uses any oil,

its their second weekend car..... most ads say that ??

Ok i do need some advise but if shes bought at the right price ?

ps the first three reg letters are my initials !!!... no that wont swing me either !

If I got it right could I sort without it costing hundreds ?

After reading all that me personally would avoid due to no service history for the last 4 years. I have noticed the E85 have roof problems often too. I would wait till another one comes along

still going to look as shes only a few miles away.... plus i love to haggle !
 
C,mon. That's cheap enough. Just sold an 54 plate Auto with 136K for £1900.
Under 100K for £2.5k. No brainer. Manual too. Not a lot of money to be fair and a bit different colour wise to the normal silver/black.

im hoping a bit less...... its the oil issues that concern me ?

previous MOTs mention oil latter ones dont....

what do i pay for additional keys ?
 
What should I be looking for as their is not much history ?
I agree its cheap....

yes roof motor will be £s, anyone local to me ? Worcs/ Warwick based ?
 
Usually gaskets of which their are plenty of write ups on the forum and plenty of knowledgeable guys willing to help out.
Sometimes you have to bite the bullet and just have a go at it.
Not a new car so it's going to have issues. Deal with them and enjoy it.

a bit of a daft question.... the bleeding obvious was never my fav subject !

Are you going to go and see the car, talk to the owner who's owned it for 4 years. Make sure the engine is cold. Have a drive, look around it. Check the oil now that it's settled after a run. If all ok strike a deal and drive it home or walk away.
If your looking for full history and no faults. 2.5 K ain't gonna cut it.

Maldives blue, they polish up a treat & my first Zed.

Suggest a £129+vat RAC inspection would at least give u either peace of mind, more bargaining leverage or to look elsewhere
 
I can be buddy. Where you based and what time you got to be their? Where is it?

Have my Mom & Dad over for Fish n Chips on a Friday evening.

That looks like a good deal so long as the car checks out when you see it.

Forum member ducklakeview is based in Cheshire and does all sorts of useful things for Z4s! He cut and coded a Bentley-style flip key for mine last year, and reviving and relocating roof motors is another of his specialities! :)
