Hello everybody,
I repaired the roof motor on my recently bought z4 e85 2004. The problem wasnt the motor but pump. The plastic wheel which is spinning was missing small metal, which keeps the shaft in the place. However i found on the internet, there should be also a spring on the small metal stick which is on the otherside of the plastic wheel and im missing that too. Does anyone know if its important? The motor sounds great but its needs help in the first part of either going up or down. After those first sections the roof works perfectly and fast. I also refill the hydraulic fluid, so its full. But now, its mixed with the old fluid (new is yellow and the old one was blue). Could this be the problem?
Thanks!
