Interesting vid but not sure what they were trying to prove TBH....and thats apart from Frankel being a really annoying presenter....did they tell him he needs to LOOK at the camera occasionally?

Two two fast cars can keep up with each other at 60/70mph on a public road....ummmmm? I expect a Twingo would do almost as well :)

Still, proves why the fourpot Zed is King of the Road eh? :evil:

But it does show the benefits of buying an expensive car with a huge engine doesn't it :poke:

What a boring 'test'

I'd be suprised if a guy on a decent mountain bike would have been far behind in that run... :thumbsdown:
 
Clearly the guy in the GTR should have stuck off the TC and got stuck in. One is a fast sensible car, the other is an ungodly assault vehicle. I'd still take the GTR any day!

I think the point was 'normal' driving, when the traction control would definitely be on. That said with 'normal' driving, anything with 200bhp+ will be more or less just as fast as one another. With big supercars slower than the hot hatches because they simply can't fit down the most fun UK roads :p

Absolutely. I understand they cannot film a full throttle test on the road, but you think they could have gone to Millbrook for a similar real world experience without the restrictions.

Think the Focus RS is an odd choice to make the point - it has more torque than a GT3 and that clever revoknuckle to keep it in check... well make it driveable. I know it's not the favourite publication around here at the moment, but the Focus was one of Evo's recent performance car group test.

Point fail.

Breaker, back to the drawing board :poke:
