The real reason I had surgery.

Glad to see that you are feeling better and wish you a speedy recovery, as well. Awaiting the go-ahead to return home must be one of the hardest parts now, just very fortunate that you have wifi to pass the time! Could not imagine what it would be like to be stuck there, with a whole 5 channels of nothing on tv to keep you entertained, like the old days. :x

Best of luck! :)

Greg,
All the best with your speedy recovery  i'm sure your wife and car are looking forward to your return.
BTW i had a big op about 5 years a go, so thanks for reminding me about the chest tubes

Damn, ducks!!!!! So sorry to hear about the cis, but overjoyed that the nodes were negative. The surgeon I work for (from Colombia, SA) also advocates a chest x-ray more often than routinely done in the US for the very reasons you're experiencing.

Rest well, darlin' and GET WELL. We can't have our favorite OCD detailer off his feet! :)

cheers Greg, all the best in a speedy & full recovery.
Damn good job on getting that chest Xray.

Have to agree with most everyone above that this is a great testimony to the benefits of getting regular checkups and not postponing health care.

Hope the recovery goes well......

Take care Greg, you make the world a better place. Hell, you alone almost balance out the damage Phil does.
