The REAL HC08 Packing List

I think these are great ideas, but it also matters on where you are coming from. I'm coming from California and plan on at least 14 days so I have to pack enough or buy or do laundry along the way, still trying to figure that out.

We do laundry when we get to Greenville and when we get to New Orleans. About every 5 days.

can always mail some belongings to the hotel in care of yourself :)

Pack and send clean clothes and pack and ship dirty ones back home.

Embassy Suites have coin operated washer & dryers on certain floors......How many days does it take you to drive from the Left Coast and return?

We did laundry in town. Do them all at once and be done sorta thing.

We take 2 weeks total there and back. The shortest route is not always the most fun.

If one is driving with a woman, give it up. You will always have too much stuff to pack into our boots/trunks.

Do I hear an amen?

For more space put a plastic bucket under the hood. Works great for the cleaning supplies. One thing is put micro towels in a plastic bag. When I got home from florida this year I used the towels for drying and they left a film of some sort on the car. Had to wax it which was ok. That is the first time that has happened. :driving:

Ummmm, it isn't just ovrkll....you gotta keep in mind that you are going back with Phil. Hell, 2 pair of Phil's BVD's take up over half a bag.

I plan on leaving on Thursday the 21st. I have stops to make in New Mexico to see my son then Texas to see an old friend and pland on arriving Wed or Thur at homecoming.

It looks like I will be leaving my wife at home so I should have all kinds of room now
