Deb is going into hospital next Wednesday for an operation and they reckon she will be in for a week.

So far, my meal plan consists of:

Chinese (from Chinese 1)
Pizza Hut
Dominos
Indian
Chines (from Chinese 2)
KFC

Not in that order perhaps, but you get the idea.....

What about a big old juicy steak, rare, with a dab of mesquite BBQ sauce ????

Thai, Indian, Malay , love em all but throw a 1" thick grain fed Alberta grown steak on the barbecue and one cold beer and 14 minutes later you have a fabulous meal.....

Proper Chinese food not the take aways in this country

x2 - my wife is Malaysian Chinese, and I have not had a Chinese takeaway for over 13 years. They just don't do it for me - gloopy and sweet, tailored for mass market British taste buds. I also get Malaysian, Indian and Thai food at home a lot, so I actually love going out for a good British meal, or something European like Italian or Greek.

Recommendation - the ONLY place my wife has eaten in the UK and said 'this tastes exactly like home' is a small restaurant called Bali Bali on Shaftesbury Avenue in London.
