THE perfect z4 Roadster spoiler....??? Edit IT arrived!!

Sorry Beedub.
It doesn't do it for me - at all,. It looks too Halford-esq for me, but each to their own.

this thing makes any other roadster spoiler look old and frumpy... its perfect.... very happy, the way it sculpts around the lip of the lid is just wonderful!! really pleased...

Certainly looks nicely crafted but for me needs to be colour coded to add a subtle extension to OEM ducktail lip

Yes, that may help a lot and be far more subtle.

The test fitting on zpost looks pretty mega. ARC-8s, hardtop, aeros and this spoiler.

Yea colour coded it does enhance the line & look svelte but so do the aero or Alpina spoiler.s but you wouldn't fit those in a contrast colour as they would look "add on" as opposed to styled

That looks beautiful 8) think I would colour code it, but fade it out and leave the middle part carbon fibre.

How much did this cost you all in?

A very divisive accessory as far as opinions go. Personally I think it caricatures rather than accentuates the 'ducktail' spoiler. That is, it takes a subtle feature on the boot and makes it the dominant feature.
But, it only has to please one person, so if you love it, it's a success

I like that and I think the colour contrast works too. Have you seen the Ferrari F12 TDF's with contrasting carbon fibre inserts? i think they look immense. That look seems to be the current trend (R8 with carbon fibre side blades was another that went down that route).

Seems to be a bit of a marmite thing going on here!

Sorry Beedub - I'm really not a fan, but glad you like it!

When are you adding a coupe roof? :poke: :D

I think it looks great. Are you not tempted to take a mould of it so you can perhaps get it reproduced in glassfibre? I reckon you'd easily make back what you paid for it and then some. You could even get it 3d scanned?

It does maybe over egg it.... but it's one feature that looks so good over done.

I think I'm going to leave it in the raw carbon... but then I may pain and fade so the edges n back side are carbon.... this piece was expensive due us all requesting a high quality carbon unit. Seems a real shame to cover up the detail.

By the time I'd paid my duty around 440 quid to my door.....
Yes I know....... expensive.
