The other half

Hi All

Can I stake a claim to be the first "other half" who loved the driving and camaraderie of the forum runs so much that she went and bought her own? (thanks to Sammy and A11y for organising the great runs I have made so far - and Tony's dodgy beer that meant I ended up having to drive around Skye)

Some of you have met me, some of you have met my car. Hopefully soon we can achieve both together - can't make Islay, but if there was anything closer... :driving:

In order to try to catch up on the straight bits I have bought a 3 litre. It was supposed to be a roadster, but somehow can't get away from loving that coupe look (thanks to Sammy for supplying the necessary equipment to enable future modification). The car's a Bright Red SE Coupe with Black Ltr and all the normal 3.0si spec.

Hi and welcome, so who is your other half for those of us who don't know you.

Guilty as charged :)

Ready now for family of four fortnight camping trip to France - with the zeds of course.

Hello and welcome to the forum, great to meet you on Skye shame you can't make Islay.

Nice Motor.. Had the pleasure of seeing this at the Lakes meet when Mr Guisely brought it along. Looks lovely in red..

I too am the proud owner of the other M tin opener.. Ive decided Im buying all the roadster owners a hairdryer next year :gfight:

Hi and welcome and look forward to seeing you at a meet by the way coupe does look nice in Bright Red good choice
Now meets can be a family affair, and say hi to Tony Two coop's for me

Thanks for all the welcomes - will be great to meet more of you sometime..

Already parted from the car - its gone to our local BMW specialst CRAMAG - the main reason behind us owning so many BMWs - for a service and check over so I know it's all OK

That means I am having to sneak Guiseley's car once he's gone to work

A sensible partner indeed, mine won't even get in the car :(

IOts got to be great fun sharing this hobby with your partner!

His and hers BMWs we have had but never his and hers coops. Can't wait for a full family attendence at one of our next meets, let's see who gets to drive in front of the other :poke:

Guiseley has three of us fighting to get in his car on most meets Chawenhalo - what it is to be popular

Need to get a meet organised a bit closer than Islay Sammy, then we can get the full family out and test who gets to drive in front

Think we probably all know the answer to that one though - I'll make a good 'lantern rouge' :)
