The one option you can't do without!?

Keep: PDC (I'm a crap driver :) )

Loose: Heated seats (not really needed in Coupe)

Funny enough my mate almost rejected the Mk6 Golf GTI he's ben waiting for 4 months because they forgot to add the folding mirrors. He knew the car wont fit into his garage without the folding....

Just move house!

Keep- heated Sport seats..........I'm like a dog, windows down at all temps. I like the swirling air in the coupe. :P

Lose-Sun glass's holder....WTF ? They should have just made that for a fold-away garage door controller like I use mine for since not one pair of my glasses can fit in the darn thing ! :x

Add-Foot rest that actually lines up to your left leg, lol.
Cheers,Vinny

I told him to tell VW to pay to widen the garage :D After quite a bit of discussion they somehow managed to retro fit (apparantly normally cant be done) and gave him £500 worth of freebies as an apology

keep automatic gearbox (i'm too lazy for that gear changing)

loose electric folding mirrors, never use them, car looks so ugly with mirrors up

Keep the electric memory seats, much smaller increments of adjustment, and memory, obviously.

If I had them I'd bin heated seats. They're on the other car but don't use them. Just feels like you've p'd yourself (I imagine lol). Sorry, but next time someone says you've got a hairdresser's car (as some ill informed people do), just don't let them see this thread :poke:

I like the sat nav personally. It's good delays info and redirecting. I've tried a Tomtom, which is good as well, apart from falling off the screen  , and Roadangel too, but they've got out of sn so no back up, no new maps etc.

Heated seats for me as said above not something i was worried about but glad i have superb on a chilly summer morning with top down and awesome when jumping in my Z last Sat night after watching the night race at Brands in the cold what a nice comfy drive home :D :D

The option I can't live without?
Like many others, heated seats win my vote. I'll not buy a car without them. In fact, for the next one I'll pop for a heated steering wheel, too.

An option I'm glad I don't have?
The headlight warts – er, I mean, washers. More trouble than they're worth and they fugly-up the front bumper.

I've never used the cruise control and i've had my car over a year! So i'd have to lose that.
Think i've already mentioned that i'd keep the heated seats. It's lovely on my bum on these chilly days especially when i'm wearing a dress :)

As much as the heated seats are nice, they are only really essential because they are full leather anyway.

I'd probably not feel the need with a nice mainly alcantara seat for example... shame BMW didn't do any M-sports in that finish, as leather is nice, but it's not all that grippy (I still find a slip around a bit in m-sports even)

I'm not sure that there's an option that I couldn't live without. I've had heated seats in a hatchback (Fiat Bravo HLX) and a softop (MX-5) and they're nice, but perhaps only essential in a Roadster.

Anyway, what I love about my MC (other than the noise, power, etc, etc) is what it doesn't have. I love the fact that it doesn't have foglights, as I never use them, and I've probably replaced them on every car I've owned due to stone damage. I also love the fact that it doesn't have Sat Nav, as it keeps the dash simple and uncluttered, but that's just me.

I'd happily take it without the Sport button too, and the stubby aerial but sometimes you just have to accept these things.

I don't seem to be doing bad for replies to my first topic.......

I'll maybe ask Lucy for some help to get over 5 pages!?

Or you could explain... "Got into the Z this morning 5:30 with just a t-shirt on (didn't expect to stay out from last night!)" :poke:

Just re-read my post and maybe it implies i didnt have anything else on except the t-shirt? - I was fully clothed......

(Or perhaps I'm skirting around the question!)
