First proper long run today in the 2007 Z4. Nottingham to Heathrow and back via M1- A43 - M40 - M25. Had the roof down the whole way back. Averaged 32mpg. Car never missed a beat :)

A bit of a long and tiring drive compared to the 640 but more fun!

The Z4 is a good car for eating up miles in 8) and then when your in the mood, you can rag it. :D

I was surprised how comfortable the z4 is when I got mine. I do a fair bit of travelling from Gloucester to Sussex and really enjoy it. Decent mpg and then as Buzyg said plenty of poke for 'proper' driving. :D
:driving:

They are great GT cars,we did 3000 miles in 8 days last July, and would do it again.Scotland is a wonderful drivers place to go. :D

The only thing that slightly spoils it is the tram-lining on the run flats. I have so much tread left that I am loathe to swap the tyres just yet.

Swap them and be amazed at how much better the car is on non run flats. Then stick the RFs on ebay, someone will buy them.

Bought my 2003 2.5 from a garage in Uxbridge 3 weeks ago and drove it back to Fife. 450 miles with a huge smile the whole way. Effortless.
