Way to go in alienating anyone that is north of the border or slightly patriotic....

My fiancée is Glaswegian  and I visit Scotland a few times a year. It's a great place.

I've simply never understand the utter hatred 2 sets of football fans could have for eachother. I support West Ham, but I don't actually want to go and stab Millwall fans.

Furry boots in Glasgow?
Thats an Aberdeen thing.....

As a Glaswegian myself (one of the non bigots) i've, along with everyone I know, used it since it became a popular staying for all.

Not to worry eh?

My Dad was born in Scotland, and always supported Dumbarton - so he must have favoured the underdog!

I was always a Chelsea supporter, and in my primary school years decided to support Celtic in the Scottish League - mainly because to me the names sounded vaguely similar!

I only found out all the background later in life, but by then I didn't want to change my allegiance.

But it's a similar scenario to some degree in the Liverpool / Everton divide.

Anyway getting back to the Old Firm match, the current Rangers team's prospects look as good as they have for a long time - maybe it's Stevie G's influence? I reckon a draw might be on the cards!

I don't know what that means  I had a quick google and apparently it's something to do with people from Aberdeen?

Wear the fox hat?
I dont think he gets it

I wouldn't understand anything if it's something specifically Scottish. I'm from pretty much as far away as you can get from the border  Closer to Germany than Scotland

Rangers V Celtic at Ibrox on 29/12/18, is the first one in a while were Rangers have a decent chance of a victory. Il be there with my Union Flag, but was wondering if any of you football minded lot give Rangers a chance?
This post started off as someone looking forward to a good game of football, then it deteriorated (almost to hatred). Shame really, but I do feel that some of these comments are moronic and thankfully not representative of Scottish people or Scottish football supporters. Certain people really do need to 'grow up' and move on.

ISIS and IRA mentioned in the same post. What is wrong with you people.
