We have a tie for first place and our procedure for a tie is to run a tie breaker thread.
This will only happen to break a tie for 1st place, and will usually last 24 hours.

In the event of the tie break being on a weekend, we will run it for 48 hours.
This thread will run for exactly 24 hours.

Say who you voted for, or why you like a photo. Equally don't say anything if you don't want to. If you don't want to post any text, just post an emoticon. Once you've posted, the voting options will be available to you.

So, without further ado...the main event is... a competition to run for 24 hours, with two contestants below:

Reminder…

1. You can vote for one;
2. You can only vote if you have posted in this thread. The idea behind that is that it will forcibly bump the thread in the "new posts" view which is where most folks seem to view the forum from. You don't need to have entered the competition.
 
StigJ i like quite often your pictures, but this time i will give my vote to fredeJ

ps : I have a prophetic vision that a member with an alias finishing by J will won this contest :D

Where do you guys find such amazing places to take photos?! How I wished I lived more remote.
 
Voting between two great shots. StigJ’s has a bold angle with clever contre jour, frederej’s with an Attenborough feel with the branch framing of the zed in the wild.
