Are we going to have the same controversy with shotbybothsides pics because they aren't his Zs??? Similar to Ste being removed from the previous comp and my image staying?

Ah, very sorry if I have messed up here. I did take the 'open' theme to mean anything Z4 goes, if that's not the case then my apologies for not reading the rules properly and I'll delete the picture, life's too short. In the very unlikely event of it winning, it wouldn't sit well with the others in the gallery anyway.

No matter the size of my image (1024 pixels wide, 1200 pixels wide), when I post it to the gallery thread, it is showing up as 800 pixels wide. Any idea what's going on? I use photobucket for pic hosting.
 
Do you think if I took a well framed and lit picture of all the broken parts I've taken from my Zed this month, I'd stand a chance?
I could go someone really picturesque.. catch the morning light on the mist.. etc...

Certainly be a unique pic :P

are you using the direct link from photobucket for the 1024 image, or are you using their "BB code" / "Forum code" link?
if so.. that'll be the culprit!

are you using the direct link from photobucket for the 1024 image, or are you using their "BB code" / "Forum code" link?
if so.. that'll be the culprit!

I'm copying and pasting the IMG code. I also tried using the IMG button on the forum, and inserting the direct link to the image that way. It is still 800 pixels wide for a 1200 pixel wide image.

The HTML and IM/Email links to my image do not allow it show up at all on the thread. So it has to be the IMG or direct link.
 
I figured it out. The default upload size on photobucket is 800 pixels wide. I changed my upload settings on photobucket to allow me to upload the original size, and it works now. Thanks!
 
Seeing as its November I thought I'd go with the remembrance theme :) Good knows what the villagers thought I was up to when I took this pic :oops:
 
Wow, thanks ladies and gents! I'm humbled; 1st place from an owners' forum is quite an honor! The Z4 is such a thing of beauty; any photo it is in is a work of art...

I had some stiff competition. I really like the images posted by CUREthe, Peddyboy, and Ben Cole.
