The 2012 Z4-Forum calendar competition is here!
All photos submitted must be LANDSCAPE format (HORIZONTAL orientation) and have an unedited original available which is a minimum of 5 (five) megapixels (about 1900x2700 pixels). This will ensure that I can print them at a decent size and quality.
I am looking for photographs of ALL Z4's to put into the calendar - roadsters, coupes, new and old. The picture must be taken by the individual entering the picture and lastly no pictures of scale models Z-4's. Your photo must not include a border.
Just post your best entry into this months competition thread for consideration for the calendar and for those who have been hoarding their pictures or not had the camera out for a while, please please feel free to enter.
There is no set theme, so feel free to submit photos of single cars, groups of cars, abstracts, meets, spring, summer, autumn, winter or just simple fantastic settings for zeds to be seen in - the only mandatory element is that the pictures must be Z4 related. In the event of tie-break images then then the decision will pass over to the forum admins and mods who will in turn let me know.
So - post your entries in this thread, resized to around 600x800, for us all to see. If you're not sure on how to do this then visit this site http://imageshack.us/ - upload the photo and copy/paste the FORUM CODE provided.
Assuming your entry is voted for and selected at the end of November. The entrants chosen will be contacted by me directly and I will be asking for you to email me the original image very soon after voting closes, so please have your high res image ready to send me (this is important as I can't make a calendar from cropped/resized photos). Remember that you must either own the copyright to the image or have obtained permission to use it.
PLEASE NOTE: The selection process and that of the judges in a tie-break situation is final, additionally as to whether a photo is qualified or not. When that is in doubt a PM will be sent and if no satisfactory explanation given will remove the entry.
The closing date for entries is Wednesday 23rd November 2011 and voting will take part for 7 days after that before closing Wednesday 30th November.
Looking forward to seeing your entries and I will update this thread with more information as we progress. Pricing and ordering details will be posted in a separate thread when I get them produced.
We'll be limited on numbers based on those that have added their name to the list running this past month. If you haven't added your name to the thread for orders there may be a few spare once I've printed and received the order. Will post again once over numbers are known.
