20ducks, have you overlaid different exposures on that pic, it looks like an HDR pic but a bit more "real" if that makes any sense.

I did actually take it out when I did a photo shoot up in the Columbia Gorge last weekend got a shot I will post.[/quote]

No overlays, no HDR. I tweaked the "blue" hue/saturation, took out a parking sign on the left and cleaned up the tarmac. Everything else was camera filters. I'm better at using the camera than photoshop thus far. I recently upgraded to CS4 to see if anything was easier and found myself immersed in more of the PS quagmire. For me the learning curve is a long one. There are a more than several on this forum that are really good with PS, there are a couple that aren't very good with PS.

20ducks, WOW I was right because I was thinking you used a filter of some kind.... :smart:
BTW nice photo...

I have recently added Lightroom 2.0 to my programs. I use it primarily because of the volume of photos I take for the BMW CCA Chapter now. I use to take a few here a few there and now I take several of what was a single shot in the past. Also, and this is the most important part, I tag each photo with my name and other pertinent data which once loaded becomes indelible. This is much better than any watermark one may use. They are easily removed.

I propose a Christmas Theme for next month..... what do we think..?

Sure, as long as we can incorporate a Hanukkah, Eid al-Adha and Kwanzaa into it.

I would prefer a Seasonal Theme (Winter) for December's competition.

Same thing that happens on the 3rd and 5th!

Come on I know you Brits know about the land you lost on July 4th!!
