Craig had to work after his road trip to Spa so we were 3 minus 1 with just Mike and I out for a run. Mike contacted me and we set off for Catton and Allenheads as I was 'driven out' after the Castle and Coast weekend. Once I'd had a lovely toasted tea cake at the cafe, the weather was just too good to turn back home. We headed for Hartside via Nenthead. Have to say, the roads were empty, the scenery brilliant and the driving fun – just one of those days when everything fell into place and it's wonderful to be out in the Zed.































There were some impressive classic motorcycles at Hartside Cafe

Have you seen the meet that halifaxbantam is holding off the m62? Keep an eye out on the forum and there might be other runs where we'll meet up. :thumbsup:

No I'm heading away again for four months, when I get back I will be looking but it won't be another Z unfortunately

I did think to myself after writing that past it would be very difficult for you to replace the zed because it was a brilliant and clean example. It would have to be something spectacular.
And great to hear your still travelling you must be enjoying it. :thumbsup:
 
Thanks Chezsherman, ye well its one of those things fancy a change! But moving up is a bit of a jump in price so will have to see :)

Yep heading off again in January so looking forward to it!
