Fezza 355 is my favourite.A proper old school ferrari before they started to get a bit too OTT. Congrats on the purchase,very very nice toy.Perfect spec and colour scheme too.Top man. :D
 
Talk to Geoff at Shiltech in Loughborough. They are Ferrari specialists and know everything about servicing and tuning them. I used to take my Maserati Gransport there, great prices and honest mechanics not parts swappers.

The F355 engine was the highest specific output per litre for a naturally aspirated engine when released in 5 valve per cylinder guise .............. and is still up there with the best - not a lot can be done to increase output.

All replacement exhaust manifolds still adopt the original Ferrari design as it can't really be bettered - the originals are just made out of chocolate for some reason! The replacement exhaust systems (Tubi, Capristo & Quicksilver) do overcome the 'back-pressure' problem to some extent which plagued the original Ferrari system and led to a lot of overheating of the manifolds and the root cause of their early demise. The Tubi and Capristo are the best sounding though - the Capristo level 3 being, what can only be described at as, 'mental'.

There are a lot of good, reasonably priced specialists closer to me than Loughborough so I'm well catered for but thanks for the info.

I've spent many an hour pondering which one I'll enjoy one day as I've reviewed Ferrari OPUS. Still haven't quite made my mind up yet... ;-)
