The V8 is 8.6 and the Supercharged is 7.2 (RRS)... either way I still dont see the point in them... they look like they are supposed to go over mountain ranges and through rivers, but just get used for the school run.... may as well get a 5 series estate for what they get used for?!
 
I would sooner Walk that have an Estate TBH.

Its all down to personel taste really, Our Freelander Sport is perfect for everything we wanted it for, The RR Sport would be a nice upgrade.

Cars aren't just a way of getting from A to B for me.

I was talking Diesels only ...

I drove one the other day (as a passenger) and the thing is so tiny inside, much smaller then my X5 and it just does not feel right.
 
gotcha... if I was going to buy a big vehicle like that I'd go old skool land rover and drive it in rivers... if you don't then I dont really see the point, may as well have a car.

I had to go through a puddle the other month when the weather was bad, Went nice and slow so it didn't splash up on the body work. :oops:

I guess Its the old thing, you get Diesel because of its better MPG then stick a Turbo on it to go faster! :roll:

WHY THE HECK ARE THE PRESS CALLING IT A COUPE???? Chris Bangle calls it Coupe-like... Pierre Leclerc says the same. And they both refer to the SAV as a Sports Car. IT'S NO FLIPPIN' SPORTS CAR!!! It's just an SUV with truncated roofline, and looks aggressively sporty. It's still a truck. Sure... if they put in a V10 / V12 engine and the sucker will go <4.5secs from 0-60, it'll be a force to be reckoned with. But it's not more than what they make this vehicle out to be. I just get frustrated when they try to blur the definitions and try to make a vehicle something that it isn't. It isn't a Sports Car Coupé. :x

I still love the looks of this beast, though. :thumbsup: Thanks for listening to my rant tonight, my family.

Blame Infiniti... they started the 4WD sportscar marketing theme.
 
I'm with y'all. One or the other. I have a Z for fun, a truck for work. This is just something else for the rich wives of Orange County to say they have :roll: .
It does nothing for me, at all :|
