Picked up the Juke, and, from behind the wheel, it's definitely a fun little car with a real kick when the turbo comes on boost... I can see that putting 215bhp through the front wheels will mean a fair amount of tyre rotation to keep the wear even

The looks though... the Nismo bodykit & wheels, work to make it look a bit more purposeful and the pearlescent white is lovely when the sun hits it...

It doesn't look too bad from here...

This, on the other hand, is the proverbial face only a mother could love...

Because of the white paint and the looks Cindy's christened it Casper The Frog.... so it's got its initials on the reg plate

I love these, Mrs B hates them - I think I need to get her driving one...

That's a pretty cool looking motor IMO

Yep, agree with Bing here-it looks different from most other cars you see these days. Quirky is good

It's surprisingly comfy inside too with the alcantara seats and steering wheel and, in the front at least, doesn't feel too cramped. Nissan's slightly quirky infotainment controls take a little getting used to but I suppose that's to be expected after 20 years of Germanic engineering...

Already started pulling it apart and 'improving' it... and that whippy's going to be replaced by a stubby asap :P

Wow Perry that looks Boss,
I personally have loved these since they first came out, if it was a bit bigger it would be on my short list. Perhaps when the kids have left home I might replace the wife's i10 with one as the third car.

I've always hated the look of them and I actually said to the salesman "I can't believe we've just bought one of the ugliest cars ever manufactured". I just walk backwards towards it  However, it's lovely to drive and I like the look of the inside. I guess it's a marmite type of car :)

Congratulations, I do like the Juke  Is the Nizmo it not four wheel drive?

I like that  think it really suits the white & red. Never really noticed them before. Enjoy your new car

There are two versions, one FWD and one 4WD - the FWD is only available in manual and the 4WD is auto only.

The 4WD version is also heavier and less powerful as Nissan's CVT box can only handle a certain amount of torque - the 4WD is 211bhp / 250Nm compared to 215bhp / 285Nm for the manual

That looks like fun. :D and it's not even moving.
It is, but I'm still learning to adjust to the the power delivery - it feels nice and responsive at normal trundling around town speeds (there's 200Nm available from 1500rpm), but put your foot down a bit and get up to 3000+ rpm and you get a big shove in the back. The torque curve is flat at 285Nm from just over 3000rpm to 5500rpm and there's not much point revving past that as the 'zorst sound at full chat is nowhere near as addictive as that of the Alpina...

Does it have an LSD on the front? My old Fiat coupe used to go from 60 to 225 ftbls between 1100 and 1900 rpm. Made tight round abouts interesting when I forgot. Could push wide in an instant as the boost came in.

Yes, the front diff has a helical ATB LSD very similar to the Quaife that I have on the Alpina

Not bad Indeed, sounds like an interesting drive.

Did you put the Alpina down as a deposit for it?
