The net is pants

I liked the net in the back, but I find it constantly dropping like a pair of fishnets on a lady of the night.

It could do with beeing a bit taller, and a couple of supports in the middle.

Maybe my 2nd mod will be a cup holder that keeps the net up.

any one else has this issue?

Mine seems to stay up mostly, but it does slip. Perhaps tie something to the fasteners to stop it slipping if it bothers you? Most stuff sits behind the seats anyhow, and anything large presses against the net to keep it in place..

Which nicely follows on to..."what do you keep on your shelf, behind the net...?"

I recently bought a California Scent, New car smell air freshener which sits nicely behind the passenger seat.

That's all I have on the shelf.

I have put the first aid kit in the centre storage bit in the rear bulkhead, so just have a cool bag behind my seat for drinks on long trips, and a dog throw behind the passenger seat.. sadly the dog passed away, but there's another in the offing!

Hat,
2X BMW 1l leather oil bags (no oil but bits and bobs like, pens, cards, paracetamol)
first aid kit (why this is not under pasanger seat like the old one) service book (old model had a net in the pasanger foot well)

Transient i.e. not living in the net area
cd's
mobile phone when I have no pockets
hot drinks
cold drinks
netbook
letters and small packets that need posting
stuff I leave on the pasanger seat moved when the wife needs the seat.

I think its one of the best ideas.

Lol I like to give a bit of humor to the day.

Yeh the post booted as it coul be seen as a PC issue

I also thought of

Ive got drooping nets
my nets drop suddenly
keeping my bits safe in my nets
holdup my nets dropped
my nets need susspenders
keep catching my net and dropping my bits
new mod suspender to hold em up

and so on.

You've obviously got too much time on your hands! :D

I was going to treat the shelf as an in-car mantlepiece when i first got it;you know what i mean,a candelabra and some nice capo de monte figurines on it to add some interior ambience.Sadly, thanks to the "net being pants",those dreams are gone and it's just a pointless shelf with a floppy net;-)

The net is pretty useless, the only reason to have it was for the cup holders, however on my shelf I have : -

Hats
Gloves
Handbag (only with the top up though)

So anybody have anything in the passenger footwell netting?

Lol

Yeh top up, its ok, top down and its gone.

It could be twice the height, and yes I forgot about the widow scraper and gloves currently on display due to the cold.
