Ha, no she's got a Focus CC. I did have a 1200 Bandit, hooligan machine sold it to stop myself getting banned or worse. Looking at something a bit more sedate now, maybe a Harley or similar.

Probably wise they are completely bonkers!! I am not allowed anywhere near anything with 2 wheels and engine any more. I had a miserable little 125 for the commute to work. And bloody BMW driver punted me off it!! The wife and my mum have me on a life time ban now :(

Been there done that. Got metal plates and screws in my arm and ankle from a shunt 30 years ago, never put me off but made me more wary.

Thanks for the links. You've got me intriqued now, so I'm going to email Brigitte Krieger-Dausch to ask if she lived in Braunschweig in '66. Somewhere I have a b/w photo of, a very slender, Brigitte in a two piece swimsuit, and I'm not sure I really want to know what she looks like now - especially since I haven't changed a bit in forty-seven years! :wink:

However...on that particular subject - in 2000 I came over to France with a scratch blues band for a town twinning visit. We played a couple of gigs for our French hosts and I was fronting the band, who, due to our ages, we called ZeeZee and the Zimmermen. It wasn't until I was having dinner with my host family on the secind night, that I found out that ZeeZee was 'un euphémisme en France' for you ones know what! They still thought it was a great name for a band.
