The Modding bug is setting in already

Really like the front, looks great.

Agreed that the black on the back goes well with the spoiler well, loving the red and black theme :thumbsup:

Thanks guys. Still considering the badgeless grille for the front but will hang fire and see how I feel with the black rings in a few weeks. :)

Really like what you have done too :thumbsup: modding must be in your blood, I have never modded any car that I've had cosmetically other than exhaust/filter & turn the boost up on the turbo when it's had one! :driving:

Is the rear spoiler standard fit or an option?

Thanks for the positive comments guys.

Kryton, it is the amplified black package which gives you the following in addition to the black edition spec:

* Matt black 19" rotor alloys
* Gloss Black mirrors
* Gloss black front bumper splitter
* Gloss black fixed rear spoiler
* Gloss black exhaust trims
* Choice of 4 different metallic colours

All in all quite a few nice cosmetic enhancements for £700 IMO, considering the alloys alone are over £500 upgrade alone and a metallic option is £550.

looks good John.

I'm going to ask a question that may be stupid....

How did you manage to mask off the rear emblem?!

Shear wizardry my friend..

I had to do a funky dance with a goat and shake hands with a one armed man of African origin :wink:

£700 :o that's a gift, don't ever purchase a 991 :roll:

Well done :thumbsup:

Thanks Kryton. It was an offer I couldn't refuse..

Don't think I'll ever be in the position to be a 991, so no danger there :D

Looks very nice, John.
The back looks especially good against the red, and with the spoiler :thumbsup:
I think the front needs to be more of a glossy finish, to stand out better/look more oem-ish ...looks great tho and cant wait to see it in the met :driving: al at the Lakes meet :driving:

I really like the matt black rings on the back, so now that you have had it for a while, what's it like and how does it compare against the zed

Thanks Paza :D

Sars, Its lovely. Not quite as enjoyable as the zed in terms of outright fun but I knew that would be the case when buying FWD over RWD. It is a very balanced car though and is easy to chuck about and drive fast. It kept up with all the Zeds and even gave Guisley's Cayman S a run for its money at the lakes meet last weekend :wink:

Right.. For some reason the plastidip is starting to come off the rings on the back of the car. Its wrinkling at the bottom section of the rings where water sits when it's been raining... Not happy :evil:

Anyway, I got thinking, what about taking the badges off the back so I got a colleague who can use photoshop to have a play about with it..

What do you reckon?
