The McDonald's appreciation and frustration thread

In advance of tomorrow's McD breakfast run on the way to Duxford, I just noticed this forum is lacking a McDonald's appreciation and frustration thread.

What do you love and hate?

I love:
- cheeseburgers and chicken burgers
- mc nuggets and their spicy sauces
- mcrib
- the milkshakes
- a chicken mayo inside a double cheeseburger

I hate
- that they don't serve burgers before 11am in the UK. Nothing like a cheeseburger for breakfast
- cold and sloppy fries
- cold cheeseburgers
- Mcrib (loved and hated)
 
Hate McDonalds completely.
Not had anything from there in around 9 or 10 years.
Meat is not supposed to be grey and slimey.
Only good things were the milkshakes and McFlurrys but I can do without.
 
The only thing I will consume in McDonald's is the coffee, it's just about acceptable if I'm desperate.

Everything else is shite.
 
OMG just saw they have the "Great Tastes of America" specials at the moment! California melt and Arizona nacho grande sound amazing!

When nighttime snacker Shanaya Edgell visited a Wisconsin McDonald's at 3 AM in search of a cheeseburger, they told her she couldn't have her cheeseburger because it was breakfast menu time, come back later for cheeseburgers, sorry!!! For Edgell, this was totally unacceptable.

The 22-year-old cheeseburger seeker didn't want any goddamn Egg McMuffin or McPancake bullshit—she wanted a simple hamburger with cheese on it, nothing special, served hot and immediately. According to a criminal complaint obtained by The Smoking Gun, she became furious—but instead of attacking the McObstructionists, she allegedly displaced her aggression onto her 40-year-old boyfriend Darrell Page by biting him on the arm "and tearing off his shirt."

Page and Edgell left the McDonald's and headed down the highway, with Page behind the wheel. They didn't get too far before Edgell suddenly changed her mind and ordered Page to go back so she could get the goddamn breakfast. (Women!) All the while, she continued hitting and biting Page as though he were the McDonald's employee who had denied her that cheeseburger. He was just an innocent bystander! Ostensibly to avoid having an accident, he pulled over to the side of the road. When police showed up on the scene, Edgell was allegedly standing on the hood of the car and "screaming about McDonald's." The cops arrested her for disorderly conduct with a domestic enhancer and took her to jail, where she's sharing a cell with some hamburglars and some regular burglars.

My only gripe is the breakfast menu. it sucks and if it's around 9 I want a proper burger not breakfast!

I also just realised, thanks! Still way too late. It's 6am now and I need a cheeseburger, not an egg mcmuffin

Mmmmmm, you can't get those in the UK at the moment. Only single quarter pounders.
 
Since the Mcrib went it's all downhill..

McDonald's is rubbish, it doesn't even taste nice.. I could understand eatin it if it did ..
 
McCoffee is nice ,

Sorry to hear that :( & for all those who say " its not like that now " :cry: my daughter worked in our local Mcds for a year & sorry to say its still fake food created months ago then made "fresh" on the day :cry: milkshakes :rofl: with no milk :D
If you enjoy eating "silly putty " disguised as a french fry go fill your boots :thumbsup:
 
I showed Supersize Me to my kids only yesterday. Strangely, none of us fancy a McDonalds today.

Horrible salt filled, fatty, tasty food. Heaven and hell combined in my opinion.
