I saw a 1 hour show last week on the "SPEED" channel. It covered how and where the engine was manufactured and also how and where the whole car was made. Pretty impressive I thought.

Yep! saw the same thing here on Sky  well cool 8)
And now I know the BMW logo has nothing to do with propellers :)

Snap always thought thats what it was

And that's what the guide at the BMW tour said, lol. Sort of like how did North Carolinians get the nickname "Tarheels". 2 versions, pick the one you like best.

That show was originally on MegaFactories. Sad, they're no longer made there. :(

Keep an eye on the lesser Sky channels. They pump a repeat out every so often. REally good programme to see inside the factory and what goes on

are you allowed to post a link ?

If I'm not I'll remove it, but I've not read that anywhere in the T&C's and guidelines :?

Not that it's essential viewing anyway, it's pretty terrible...

Does the logo have another sense than? and what is it?

the Bavarian flag is blue/white pattern so the roundel is like a little bit snipped out. I kinda like both explanations.
