The M journey

Thanks chaps.

Don't do ceramic coating when it is warm in the garage, makes it a right challenge

You mean your garage wing isn’t climate controlled? WTF!

Clear is standard on the M :poke:

I never realised that. Just for the roadster I presume, and the coupe is red standard? (mine is red anyway!)

Very nice Z, from a fellow midnight blue bro 🤜💥🤛

Thanks chaps. Amazing how a muffler still comes up shining after all that time.

Update 14/11/2025

Had the front end of the car re-sprayed and then have PPF applied to the front including the bonnet as well as the aero skirts. I know the PPF costs for the skirts is almost the same as one re-spray costs, but I hate seeing chips on those. They treated the roof and re-sprayed some metal bars in the engine bay as well when they had the bumper off. Happy with the work done.

Is it cheeky to ask what sort of money the front end respray was?

My front bumper wings and bonnet are showing their 80k and need to get it done at some point but its half the car... 🫠

Tempted to touch it in and cut it back and see what the results are. Issue is there are so many it will take forever and probably still not look great.

The bumper respray and doing the PPF on it a few weeks later: £800
Bonnet PPF: £400
Side skirts: £360

The bumper price was actually very good I thought as I had hit a deer with it a month or so ago, so got a new grill inner frame from one of the breaker chaps that they fitted.

Is that £1560 for the front bumper, bonnet and side skirts repainted and then PPF’d?

The deer was resembling one of your patients after your butchery, so unfortunately no more.
