The Lakes - 18th October

My mate is working in Spain til Friday but still hoping to make Saturday in his Z4. Also, might have a 335i convertible along as well!!! If he can keep up :D
 
Soooo tempted.. but it's a long way from Worcestershire. Have just met a fellow 06 Imola Roadster blokey who lives around the corner and just told him about it too.

Would be some cracking desktop pics though..

I'd love to hear someone's DSP system too.. before I chop mine about. Does anyone have a TV ? 8)

Its my birthday night out (stopping over with 7 mates) so all booked and paid for (hotel, train etc), otherwise I would have. Especially as there's no footy for me on Saturday either.

Never mind - have a good un.
 
Weather seems to change every time I look at BBC site. :cry: Looks like we will get some rain and some sun! Is this still a goer?????

I wish i'd have known about this, me and my bro have Z4MR's and we would love to have joined you guys. My little bro has just turned 17 and past his test in 5 days, so he'd love to join if an MX5 would be welcome?

Good to meet you folks yesterday, Dave, Mike, John and Athol.

Weather was wet but we still got the roofs down and had a bit of a drive.

Sorry but Kathryn took my good camera and the pics I took with my other camera are crap.
 
It was good to meet everyone face to face :) Lots of car talk and some footie and even politics! We even managed a drive around the Lakes in between the showers. Think the roadster boys were casting envious glances at the coupes, they are such good looking cars! Might have been the other way round if the sun had been shining!

Thanks to all for a great day out. My first meet and all those M's !!! Will certainly be up for any other meets next year.

Returned from Luton today having dropped the car off for fitting of new Carbon roof,exhaust,Gr M airfilter and rolling tune up/flash. They will be taking plenty of pics during roof install so will check out the cabriolet look and fwd on. :?

The exhaust includes 100cell cats so will also have before and after dyno's to pass on.

Grrrr makes me want a carbon roof too !! I'm definately getting one of those wee carbon rear spoilers, i like the subtle smallness of it. I'll also have to chase up Hayward and Scott.......

Maybe if i don't drive it until the Spring I can save the cost in fuel savings....... :D
