Love how I get a message from mods that my pic has been deleted because someone complained my pic was of Tom's z and not mine (even though it was taken from my Z and on the Z4-Forum national meet)...
But tom's pic of Sammyz car is perfectly fine

Does it say you have to be the owner? As long as its a Z what does it matter?
There have been times when people have been sat in their Zeds so clearly didn't take the picture themselves, or a pic of a Z they've sold (or not even a Z atall in breakers case think someone posted a pic of that Z4 GT3 race car a while back too )
Personally I think it should have been fine seen as it was a pic of a Zed, taken from a Zed, at a Zed meet... But as Dav said rules are rules if they wish to be applied and I guess someone just had it in for me 8)
I think the original picture before cropping had half an inch of my windscreen in, if I'd have known I'd just not cropped it out

You're absolutely right, the only difference being that obviously no-one complained on those threads
I would just look at it like this Ste, your pic was so good that someone else who entered felt threatened by its brilliance

Rules:
One entry per person
The car in the picture must belong to you (or wife/gf etc)
Please make images < 1024 width
Photos must be unique (i.e. no re-submissions)
Photoshop alterations ARE allowed in general. There may be months where we have a non-photoshop comp though, so watch out.
I posted the GT3 race car pic as I hadn't noticed it has to be owned by you. It got taken out of the comp. I was pissed at the time but I broke the rule so fairs fair (although others have since and their pics have stayed).
Where does it say in the rules that it has to be a Z4?
Also, if it's car a you have owned and sold, then technically you have still owned it!
(and lets face it, a non Z4 pic will never win this photo comp.)Technically though the "must be taken by you" isn't on the main rules post, but it is at the top of the July comp thread. :wink:
