Thanks bud  Only iPhone shot but she was clean so seemed rude not to really :D

And very clean and shiny she looks too  I see you too haven't succumbed to the stubby.

Thanks Ruby. Means a lot from a fellow Interlagoser :D Yep, no stubby for me. Quite like the whip.

I'm not much of a photographer but I think I took a nice picture of my Z4 parked at the Truckee River in Squaw Valley. I noticed the tiki torch in the picture after the fact, unfortunately.

I duno just because its a studio shot doesn't make it a good pic. Its a well shot studio pic but pretty boring not much creative thinking looks like a standard web promo shot to me. All the talent lies in the lighting which is well put together but Like Dubsesds has some creative thinking the studio shot just doesn't

The whole set up is completely controlled and there is no visual impact its just a Z4.

Sorry. Wouldn't get my vote there is more to photography than just knowing to use a camera and tbh an indoor studio shot has much less variables than an outdoor shot especially with cars, so in my opinion I wouldn't call it more skilled. Especially using studio lighting outdoors as you have to block more reflections than you do in a studio as its contained so reflected back with large sheets of white boards or reflectors.

Out of the box thinking will win you the comp more than photographic skill. As was described in the last thread as well as careful editing.

some good submissions this month as well. my suggestion to those trying to take some creative shots, is shooting in the evening right before sunset without any flash. the camera picks up alot of beautiful colors and the refelctions on the car really pop. anyone interested in photography and composition, visit www.fredmiranda.com

I do find it funny though that the shot by Mitch is taking some mild fire here while other heavily photoshopped submissions go by unscathed. A studio shot isn't something you see all too often on a forum like this, so I personally thought it was a very interesting submission. And besides, when does photography stop being photography?

But then again, my mindset usually differs from that of others. There are some great submissions here already. :)

Just stuck my motor up ;) hoping it looks nice took it with my cheap camera and know little about photography but worth a shot!

Looking at the different comments in this thread... It's a competition: some people are supposed to be better than others... :P

I submitted mine, just for the fun of it. It's great to see all those pics, whether they are good or bad, it's great to see so much Z-lovers
