After a year of ownership I thought I would put into pictures the work I've done so far. I bought the car with no intention of changing anything, on the drive home all was well with the world.....then I found the forum.
The car started off as a standard 2003 2.5 complete with a full array of ginger bits!!
Photos from the ad when I bought the car.

The mandatory stubby came first. Then aux cable install.
After a good clean I started to read of ways to rid the car of the dated looking tango bits.
I first tried fly-eye on the rears.

Then the relatively easy task of clear side indicators.

Not entirely happy with the fly-eye tint and getting inspired from members that had the quad clear spots, I started looking on EBay Germany for a cheap set. Tried the all clears on the car but didn't really like the look.

So next was the red tint spray and lacquer. Really pleased with the results.

Attention then turned to the headlights and ridding them of the awful orange hockey sticks. Not being sure of the aftermarket lights, I started searching eBay for a donor set of clears in any condition. Found a dodgy looking set that had ok lenses but the all important clear hockey sticks. Again, the forum gave me the courage to cut the fronts of my lights and the rears off the donor clears. At the point of no return I did wonder if I'd made a big mistake but having no choice but to carry on, The perseverance paid off.

New front end wishbones, bushes and droplinks refreshed the front end. A hunter alignment also done.
After searching for the past year for wheels and something always coming out of the blue to swallow up any money I'd saved for them, I bought a new set of Bbs LM Reps from a forum member. New carbon badges ordered and Falken tyres priced up, I was ready for the last few mods I had planned.
Tyres fitted, wheels and badges on. I'm really pleased with how the car looks now and for a 2003 car, I think it looks much newer. Still only on 60k with a full service history, many more years left in the old girl!!

Unsure about lowering yet as would ideally like to keep as is. The car looks higher in the photos and the rear photo doesn't show just how wide the rear tyres are. I went for 235/35/19 fronts and 265/30/19 Falken FK453. After searching all the internet sites my local Indy tyre specialist came up with £513 fitted. Really pleased with the price and quality. Well that's it for now although I am considering a clear third brake light. Then that will definitely be it............
